GHANAIANS URGED TO TAKE INTEREST IN WILL MAKING
An Accra based legal practitioner, Yaw Anokye Frimpong has revealed that given the importance of will making, it behooves on all Ghanaians to prepare their will before they die notwithstanding the size of their estate.
According to lawyer Frimpong, making a will helps to avoid the fragmentation of one’s estate when he or she is no more, adding that it also allows the deceased to bequeath to persons other than his or her family relations, an estate of his or her choice.
But a cross section of Ghanaians who spoke to Adom news was of the view that they were young to do one or they had no properties to share in their will. We bring you some excerpts.
But the lawyer disagrees and argues that making a will also gives one the peace of mind to make the world a better place than he or she came to meet it.
Lawyer Frimpong encourage Ghanaians to cultivate the habit of making will so that it prevents unnecessary disputes that normally characterizes in families.
