NPP WILL USE INSULTS AS SELF DEFENCE-PERRY OKUDZETO


A member of the communication Director of the NPP, Perry Okudzeto have stated that though the constitution of the NPP sanctions members for in disciplinary action, they will use insults as self defence if their opponents provoke them.

He explains that if a member of the party is provoked at a media discussion, the member has the right to react to the statement.

Perry Okudzeto was answering whether the NPP will punish any member if they engage in politics of insults.

According to him, the media should to be circumspect when dealing with politicians on their political shows.


Meanwhile, the National Organizer of the National Democratic Congress, Yaw Boateng Gyan has called on the media especially radio stations to ban politicians who exchange insults on their discussion.

He explains that this measures will help check the politics of insults that has recent characterized the local political scene.

Commenting on whether the NDC has special sanctions for those who engage in the act, Yaw Boateng Gyan stated that the disciplinary committee sanctions members who exchange words in the media.

But he stated that the disciplinary committee does not make their public hence the suggestions that media should rather ban those people from their studio.
